# Atkins Style Spicy Beef Chile

## Ingredients
|
|
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
|
|
- 1 onion, chopped
|
|
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
|
|
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
|
|
- 1/4 cup chili powder
|
|
- 1 tbsp cumin
|
|
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
|
|
- Salt and pepper to taste
|
|
- Cheddar cheese (optional garnish)
|
|
- Sour cream (optional garnish)
|
|
|
|
## Steps
|
|
1. Brown the beef in a large pot over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
|
|
2. Add the onions and garlic; cook until softened.
|
|
3. Stir in the tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
|
|
4. Simmer for 30-45 minutes to let flavors meld.
|

5. Serve hot, garnished with cheese and sour cream if desired.
